Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything you create, upload, or publish with SocialGrovv, including AI prompts, uploaded media, generated videos, voiceovers, captions, thumbnails, and anything you schedule to YouTube. It is written around what our tools can actually do.

You write the topic, script, character description, and prompts. We do not keyword-scan that text before generation, in any language. By creating an account, starting a plan, or using the Service you accept this policy. You are responsible for what you write, generate, approve, and publish.

1. Sexual Content & Minors

You may not use SocialGrovv to create, upload, or publish:

  • Sexual content of any kind, including suggestive or nude imagery.
  • Anything that sexualises or endangers minors. We have zero tolerance for this and will report it to the relevant authorities where required.

2. Real People

  • No realistic depictions of real, identifiable people — public figures or private individuals — shown saying or doing things they did not say or do.
  • No face swaps.
  • No imitating a real person’s voice. Voiceovers use catalog voices only.
  • No impersonating people, brands, or organisations.

Factual commentary or biography about real people is fine if it is accurate, not deceptive, and disclosed under YouTube’s rules where it looks realistic. Showrunner characters must be fictional and described in text; do not describe a real person.

3. Deception & Fraud

  • No fabricated chats, screenshots, news, documents, or evidence presented as real. Text Story output is fiction and must not be used to pass off a conversation as real.
  • No election or civic misinformation.
  • No fake reviews or testimonials.
  • No scams, phishing, or spam.
  • No mass-produced, repetitive, or inauthentic content that breaks YouTube’s policies.

4. Harm

  • Hate speech, harassment, and threats.
  • Violent extremism and terrorism.
  • Graphic violence or gore created for shock.
  • Content that promotes self-harm or suicide.
  • Content that promotes dangerous or illegal activities or goods.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Only upload media you own or have the rights to use.
  • No prompts designed to reproduce copyrighted characters, logos, artworks, or songs.
  • No re-uploading or republishing other creators’ videos as your own.

To report an infringement, see the copyright section of our Terms.

6. Platform Rules

If you publish to YouTube, you must follow the YouTube Community Guidelines, YouTube monetisation policies, and YouTube’s rules on disclosing altered or synthetic content. Platform rules apply in addition to this AUP.

7. Misuse of the Service

  • Do not try to bypass credit limits or access controls.
  • Do not attempt to damage, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its providers.
  • Do not resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

8. Enforcement

We do not keyword-scan topics or scripts before generation. Image and video providers may still apply their own filters. We review user reports. Depending on the severity, we may remove content, suspend or terminate an account, and report unlawful content to the authorities. Credits are not charged for a request we refuse. For serious or repeated violations we may terminate an account without a refund, as set out in our Refund Policy. Filters can occasionally block legitimate requests; if you think a block was a mistake, contact support.

9. Reporting

To report content or behaviour that breaks this policy, email [email protected] with a description and, where possible, a link or the place in the Service where you saw it.
