Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones SocialGrovv uses, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember information about your visit, such as your session, and are widely used to make websites and apps work. We also use browser localStorage for the same functional purposes.
2. Cookies We Use
We keep cookie usage minimal and purpose-built. We currently use only the following:

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies. If this changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
3. Browser Storage (localStorage)
To make the app convenient, live features may save small items in your browser’s localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not itself a tracking tool. At a high level, it is used to:
- Keep drafts — for example series or channel setup in progress, wizard progress, and a YouTube post you are composing.
- Resume work — for example the plan or active generation job you were working on, so you can return to it after a reload.
- Remember interface choices — for example the view you chose on the Posted page, whether you asked for a notification when a long video is ready, and prompts or buttons you have dismissed (such as a connect banner or the feedback button).
4. Third-Party Content
Some pages may load thumbnails or previews from third-party hosts (for example stock media from Pexels). Those hosts may set their own cookies when their content is displayed; such cookies are governed by the third party’s own policy, not by SocialGrovv. When you connect YouTube, Google’s sign-in pages set cookies under the Google cookie policy.
5. Managing Cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, as the Service will not function without them (you would be unable to stay signed in).
- You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or clear local drafts.
- Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies on a per-site basis via their privacy or security settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
